Patience of a saint.
I love this phrase, because it puts patience on the side of the angels. And so it should. As patience is our unbidden friend and waits with us for the appearance of something yet hidden. Racing
Some days, the race is hard on us. And we barely crawl across its finish line at days end. But, here is the truth. We do finish the race, having fought for the good. Knowing that we have kept believing, even in the face of adversity and sometimes pain. Knowing that tomorrow, next week, next year we will race again. To fight, not just for ourselves but for our loved ones and our neighbours. And for those that cannot fight. This then, makes every one of us victors and heroes.
